JITO Belgaum conducted Career Guidance program for high school students of 9th & 10 th std on Sunday, 12 th Jan 2020.@ K K Venugopal Auditorium , Gogate College Of Commerce Belagavi. Career Guidance Program is flagship event of JITO Belgaum . We have been organizing this event every year since 2014 . Every year we call eminent speakers from different fields to enlighten students from schools in and around Belgaum. This year too we are had the program for students of class 9th and class 10th . This program is free for all students and one accompanying parent if interested. The needs and aspirations of the new generation are changing and ever demanding. Keeping this in mind, this year we planned to touch upon topics relevant to new interests and opportunities. Social media and easy access to internet is giving a great amount of exposure to creativity among today’s youth. Deviating from the routine fields this time we chose lecturers who could inspire students to explore new horizons We approached all possible schools in Belgaum – English, Kannada, Marathi – government and private schools, to send their students. auditorium with a seating capacity of 450 and it was absolutely packed. The event was inaugurated by Mr Vinod Doddannavar well known face & Educationist in Belgaum. We had a total of four speakers lined up for the event. Our 1st Speaker Lt.Col.S Mohanrao R Spoke on Opportunities in Defence , Sports & Physical Fitness & How to Apply for National Defence Acedemy (NDA) which is one of best institute in World. 2nd Speaker Miss Bhakti Desai who specializes in career guidance spoke about basic & Different Certificate Courses and also guided students regarding COMPETETIVE EXAMS. 3rd Speaker Mr. Rajendra Belgaumkar Spoke on different Opportunities in the field of Marketing & Finance The last session was by Dr. Radhika Kulkarni , a counselor by profession. She spoke about the Stress Free Studies & Exams . The qualities that the students need to nurture to get over exam fear and fear of failure, Stress & Time Management All the students and parents had an enriching experience. This Event was led by Rajratan Doddanavar & Ably supported by Chief Secratary Vikram Jain , Abhay Adimani, Akash Patil, Nitin Chipre, Dr. Gomatesh Kusnale , Sanjiv Doddanavar , Abhijit Ankle & Career Guidance Organizing Team to make it a great & Fruitful Event .
