JITO Chennai chapter organised an interactive session on 26th November with Shri Baram Vakil, who is the second generation in a family of Lawyers, he gave a detailed presentation on IBC, its merits, the process, case studies, etc. He emphasized the importance of IBC in the new age corporate india which gives even a small vendor the power to recover his money effectively & efficiently. An interactive Q&A session was followed where in Mr. Vakil interacted with our members to clarify their apprehension & legality of certain issue by giving a hypothetical case study. He highlighted the importance and roles of NCLT & DRT in our Indian Law system and also termed it as an effective tool to recover the dues. This will help pave way for better corporate governance & accountability in India to make it a favorable business destination for the world.
