A hostel with a capacity of 75 students for supporting IIT aspirants has been set up at Kota which provides scholarship, accommodation and coaching. We have an in-house canteen which provides clean, healthy vegetarian food. The hostel is located at 419 - New Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Kota - 324005 (Raj). which is in the proximity of all major Coaching Institutes

Eligibility Criteria
Students who have appeared for 10th examination or passed 10th, 11th or 12th examinations are eligible. Students who have appeared once for IIT entrance examination are also eligible for coaching under this programme. However, students who have appeared twice for IIT are not eligible for admission.Entrance Examination

An online entrance examination is conducted by JITO for the all the applicants. Different question papers are prepared for students of 10th, 11th and 12th classes. Examination will be held at the hostel in Kota. Students are advised to inform hostel management in advance before coming for entrance examination. The entrance test will be held on different dates during the period April to August every year. The exact dates will be decided depending upon the examination dates of the coaching institutes. So it’s necessary that the students provide us with dates for their arrival in KOTA. The test will be held at Kota hostel and it is an online test. Ex IITians and other professionals provide mentoring facility to students in the hostel. They remain in touch with the students to provide them regular help in academic and personal issues. Subsidy will be paid to the Candidates in following manner.
Accommodation & Mess
All students will be given subsidy of 40%. (Actual amount charged would be net amount only) Students pay for mess directly to the Mess Management.Coaching subsidy

Meritorious Economically Weaker Students are provided 75% to 100% subsidy on food, rent and coaching as per below criteria:
- Annual Family income less than Rs 3 lakh – 100%
- Annual Family income less than Rs 4.5 lakh – 75%
Note:-
- Coaching subsidy is payable only after declaration of final result of IIT Advance. (Economically Weaker Students would be paid coaching subsidy at the time of payment to institutes only). This subsidy is payable on net amount paid to the coaching institute.
- Only in case of extraordinary meritorious students, the Weaker Section’s subsidy will be payable. Therefore, any students securing high merit in tests conducted by us and having meritorious academic background only would be given this subsidy.
- Following documents will be submitted for verification of economically weaker status: ITR for past 3 years, electricity bill for past 2 months and Income Certificate (Self Declaration).
JEMP APEX Committee:
JEMP is governed by an Apex Committee,
- To decide locations of JEMP centres for IIT/IIM aspirants
- To set up centers and overall supervision of Centers with the help of Local Executive Committee.
- To supervise academic performance of students and to provide support for getting best results.
- To decide the manner & quantum of Financial Assistance to students
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Funding of subsidy
- Approval of expenditure budget for each Centre.
- Co-ordination with JITO – JATF.
- Propagation of JEMP activities
Presently there are 7 members in the APEX Committee. Shri Sushil Solanki, IRS (Rtd) is Chairman of the committee and Shri Kushal Raj Gulecha is Director from the Board. In order to provide regular help and to provide support to students, a Local Executive Committee of Kota residents has been formed, who regularly visit the hostel and interact with students to solve their problems and monitor functioning of the hostel. Academic Committee
An Academic Committee comprising of ex IITians and other professionals have been formed to take care of conducting examinations, evaluation of performance of students and mentoring of students. It is presently (2018 to 2020) headed by Shri Kuldeep Ranka, IAS, Jaipur and Shri Vivek Jain, M Tech is member of this Committee.Success Rate
Success Rate
In 2018, all over India, 1,55,158 students appeared in IIT JEE ADVANCE and 18,138 students were declared qualified. Hence all India average result was 11.69%. Against that, from JITO HOSTEL KOTA, 19 students appeared in IIT JEE ADVANCE 2018 and 9 were selected with good ranks. The balance 9 students have been selected for NIITs and other reputed Engineering Colleges. Our success rate is 47.37% for selection in IITs and 100% for selection in all Engineering Colleges put together. Considering that this was the first year of the hostel, it's a great achievement.It is also noteworthy that, 29 students cleared JEE Mains out of 38 students who appeared, which is 76% success ratio against all India average of 20%.
