JITO Dubai continued to have a successful knowledge event on 28th November 2018. The theme of the November event was Artificial Intelligence. Dr Prithvi Bhattacharya (Practitioner, Researcher in the field of Strategic Alignment of Business and IT with a special interest in the use of artificial intelligence in business) was the keynote speaker. He provided various insights into how artificial intelligence is impacting our life's and how it is been used effectively by businesses in their decision-making process. Members of the JITO toastmaster club held a session of debate on whether artificial intelligence will take away our jobs in the future or not. The debate session concluded with online voting amongst the audience for and against the topic. An 11-year-old girl, Miss. Demaira Kishnani who can use her sense of smell to perform different tasks while being blindfolded. She demonstrated how the human brain can be trained to perform seemingly impossible tasks by developing control over one's senses.
