JITO Belgaum Youth Wing  started an initiative called ‘SAVE A LIFE’. on 19th March 2019 , This initiative is all about rescuing animals like Goat and Sheep from butcher shops and Cows from Slaughter House who get killed for meat. By collecting donations and also by collecting old news papers, sell them and add the amount in corpus for the cause. Within a span of one week , people donated around Rs 35000 both by cash and by news papers. On the occasion of Foundation day, Youth wing launched this initiative at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Goshala- Belgaum. The animals were accepted happily by the trustees of Goshala. President of Goshala Shri Jabbarchand Ji Samsukha along with Jt Sec. Shri Manoj Sancheti were present when the animals were taken to Jain Goshala. JITO Youth Wing also felicitated Jabbarchandji for the wonderful work done at Goshala. The youth wing were successful in rescuing 4 goats and 1 cow which are presently at Goshala. After the launch, as and when people came to know about the cause, another Rs 37000/- were donated for SAVE A LIFE cause by few people. This will be an on going flagship project of JITO Belgaum  Youth Wing.

 President Amit Doshi briefed about SAVE A LIFE concept and assured by saving more animals on a regular basis and requested to donate old news papers in bulk which will be collected from anywhere in town. Chief Secretary Akshay Bhojannavar thanked all trustees, donors and guests at Goshala.
