A Pre-launch meet turned into a full-fledged chapter launch of JITO Uganda on 20th May, 2018 at Jain Samaj Uganda Community Hall at Kampala in presence of JITO Apex President Shri Shantilal Kawar. Shri Sachin Kamdar, from JITO Uganda Team welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries of JITO Uganda.
Under the guidance of Shri Rasik Haria, Shri Ranjeet Bhansali, Shri Hitesh Shah and with help of JITO Uganda team, the function was graced by more than 100 prominent community members. Mr. Hitesh Shah invited Mr. Rasik Haria to give brief introduction of Jain Samaj Uganda. Thereafter Mr. Shantilal ji was called on dais. JITO Corporate film was shown to members.
Later on Mr. Shantilal Kawar, explained in detail about JITO and its projects and activities and how it has benefitted the community and the society at large. He announced the names of 8 CP and 24 Patron Members, who were all invited on Dias. The numbers kept on adding even after the program was over.
The meeting ended with Uganda & Indian National anthem and was followed by Lunch. Thanks to the prominent industrialist Shri Vimal Shah of Kenya for is support and Shri Bharat Doshi – Chapter Chairman of JITO Kenya who helped through Shri Manubhai Chandaria for supporting in making members in Uganda.
